Production chemists are responsible for ensuring that the products we use every day are safe and effective. They work with a variety of chemicals, materials, and equipment to ensure that everything from pharmaceuticals to food is produced correctly.The Approved Production Chemist will be involved in the manufacturing processes of Oral Liquids, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. Formulation & Production : Perform the formulation and production of Oral Liquids Quality Control: Ensure all products meet quality specifications and are produced in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Documentation : Maintain accurate records of formulations, production processes, and quality checks. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all activities are in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other relevant regulations.
Qualification : A bachelor’s degree is a minimum requirement for most production chemist positions. A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a related field is preferred by most employers. Some production chemists may have a bachelor’s degree in a non-chemistry field and then complete a two-year master’s program in chemistry.
